Overview
CBRE is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Executive Director, AI Business Transformation to lead the strategic direction, development, and implementation of Gen AI initiatives across the organization. This role shapes the future of real estate by leveraging generative AI to drive business value in areas such as property management, leasing, research, and investment. Responsibilities
Strategic Vision and Roadmap
Develop and articulate a comprehensive Gen AI strategy aligned with CBRE's objectives. Identify and prioritize key Gen AI use cases across the organization (e.g., content generation, data analysis, process automation, customer service). Create and maintain a technology roadmap with investments, resources, and timelines. Stay current on Gen AI advancements (LLMs, generative image/video models, and related technologies).
Hands-on Implementation and Technical Leadership
Lead development and deployment of Gen AI solutions (model training, fine-tuning, deployment). Oversee prompt engineering, API development, and system integrations. Provide technical leadership to engineers, data scientists, and other professionals. Ensure quality, scalability, and security of Gen AI solutions and establish governance and responsible AI practices.
Project Management and Execution
Lead Gen AI projects from ideation to launch, delivering on time, on budget, and to high quality standards. Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and detailed project plans with timelines and risk management. Track progress and proactively address issues.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
Build relationships with business leaders, D&T, legal, and compliance teams. Educate stakeholders on Gen AI capabilities and benefits; gather requirements; identify new opportunities. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation.
Vendor Management
Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors (model providers, cloud platforms, consulting firms). Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for vendor services.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field; PhD preferred. Experience:
10+ years in AI/ML with a strong focus on Generative AI. Proven track record deploying Gen AI solutions in real-world business contexts. Experience leading and managing technical teams. Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Experience in the Real Estate industry is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of Gen AI concepts (LLMs, generative models). Proficiency in Python; experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
