We’re building a team of technical CRM experts who build, QA and launch marketing campaigns designed by our Lifecycle Marketing partners. This team focuses on high quality campaign delivery and operational efficiency to enable DoorDash to achieve its missions and continue to grow rapidly.
About the Role As the Consumer Campaign Operations Lead, you will lead a 20+ person Operations team that builds, QA and launches hundreds of high quality CRM campaigns per year. You will partner closely with the Consumer Lifecycle Marketing Audience Lead to ensure each campaign has the right staffing, completes all required steps prior to launch, and is delivered on time to the end consumer, with high quality and craft. You will be responsible for your team’s high quality campaign delivery rate goal and will partner with Martech, Product and Analytics to identify opportunities for improvement across our Campaign Operations processes and tools. This role will report to the Head of Campaign Operations.
Responsibilities
Team Performance: Own the high quality campaign delivery rate goal and production efficiency for your audience. Identify new processes, talent development and tools required to improve the quality, craft and production efficiency of campaigns each quarter.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Campaign Operations Managers and Associates, fostering growth, collaboration, and excellence in campaign execution. Ensure each team member stays accountable to the Campaign development requirements.
Operational Efficiency: Develop AI-enabled workflows, processes, and best practices to ensure campaigns are launched with high quality and minimal errors.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design to align on campaign goals, audience segmentation, and creative execution.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve quality, craft and efficiency for future initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Campaign Operations for your audience, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
Tool Expertise: Leverage AI, Braze and in-house marketing platforms to implement sophisticated campaigns, including automation, dynamic content, and A/B testing.
Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years in Retention Marketing, Marketing Operations, Martech or Lifecycle Marketing, with at least 4 years leading 10+ reports. Experience leading a Marketing Operations team is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Braze is required. Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools to improve operational efficiency or campaign quality. Familiarity with other marketing automation tools is a plus.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and analytics to inform decisions, build business cases for investment, and optimize campaign development and quality.
Collaborative Approach: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $149,600—$220,000 USD, localized by location. Equity grants available. Total compensation varies by location and market conditions.
