As Business Development Director, you’ll lead the growth of our food ingredients business in the USA, opening new markets, strengthening existing relationships, and driving the adoption of innovative, science-backed solutions in everyday consumer brands. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping sales strategy, guiding category planning, and developing strategic partnerships with leading food beverage companies. This is a high-impact leadership role, where your work will directly influence Nuritas’ market presence, revenue growth, and innovation adoption across the U.S. Responsibilities
Build and nurture relationships with major FB companies to integrate Nuritas’ ingredients into everyday brands. Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and KPIs. Drive new business revenue opportunities across existing and new accounts, delivering consistent YoY growth. Lead, inspire, and develop the FB sales team, fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, R&D, and Product Development to deliver tailored technical solutions and innovative product concepts. Represent Nuritas at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to grow brand visibility and expand the customer base. Implement efficient sales processes and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to uncover new business opportunities. Influence customers through compelling category strategies and actionable insights. Collaborate closely with other sales teams to share insights and leverage cross-functional opportunities. Essential Qualifications
5+ years in leadership roles driving food ingredient category development, with strong industry credibility. Proven ability to engage confidently with executive teams, boards, and external stakeholders at senior level. Skilled in influencing decision-making and aligning diverse stakeholders in complex, cross-functional environments. Established customer relationships and networks across the U.S. Food & Beverage market, including premium health ingredients. Track record of delivering revenue growth and acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, adaptable to varied audiences. Practical expertise in CRM optimization for sales forecasting. Willingness to travel across the U.S. for client meetings. Preferred Qualifications
