Clearance Requirement:
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance at the level required by the Government. An active clearance is not required at the time of hire; however, the ability to be adjudicated as clearable is mandatory for this position.

Five (5) days onsite at the customer's facility
Responsibilities One of our federal customers is seeking a highly experienced
Senior Lead Windows Administrator
to oversee endpoint management and IT workflows in order to deliver a secure, reliable, and seamless end-user experience. This role will lead efforts in patch management, software deployment, encryption, and workflow automation, ensuring system integrity and operational efficiency across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, leadership ability, and a proactive approach to addressing security and performance challenges.
Lead enterprise patch management efforts, ensuring all updates are thoroughly tested for functionality, compatibility, and potential conflicts before deployment
Proactively monitor, identify, and remediate security vulnerabilities in collaboration with security teams
Drive automation and workflow optimization for device provisioning, patch management, encryption management, software deployment, and other IT processes
Develop, maintain, and leverage scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, and Intune, to streamline desktop engineering and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
5–8 years of experience as an individual contributor in Windows systems administration or related IT roles
CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent industry certification
Expert-level experience in Windows workstation support, imaging, patch management, deployment of COTS and GOTS software, encryption, and process automation
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, design, implementation, and administration
Strong understanding of Windows Desktop and Server operating systems and associated technologies
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, task management, and process optimization
Extensive experience in Group Policy management and troubleshooting
Solid understanding of security best practices, including implementing security measures within Active Directory
Experience with backup and recovery solutions for Active Directory environments
Proven experience with BIOS management, BitLocker or other encryption-at-rest systems, Microsoft administrative tools, M365 and Azure management and reporting, COTS application support, system administration for Microsoft Enterprise management systems, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), and Intune/Entra AD
