The Data Architect Lead Analyst - Data Analytics Lead Analyst is a senior-level role responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way, in coordination with the Technology team. The objective is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to drive business planning. This technical lead role manages IT initiatives primarily focusing on data quality, design and development of a data quality framework, adherence and conformance, including data analysis, profiling, root cause identification, ETL process reviews and remediation. Works closely with Chief Data Office, Data Governance, Legacy Product Processors leads, IT teams, etc., to meet data quality conformance goals in Regulatory reporting space. Responsibilities Understand the complete regulatory data demand landscape, processes and end-to-end lifecycle, in planning and managing scope, timelines, quality, and related deliverables. Partner with key stakeholders such as Business, Chief Data Officers, Data Governance officers, Finance and IT teams to manage regulatory reporting scope and demands. Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation of system scope, objectives and necessary enhancements for complex, high-impact projects. Resolve data quality issues and remediate data proxies through strategic solutions via established processes such as data quality rules and release management. Perform expert analysis of Consumer banking data to identify data anomalies, data quality issues, reconciliations, and data standard issues. Visualize data lineage from origin to consumption, relating to business processes, system flow, and data movement. Accelerate learning of existing systems, data, standards, financial systems, Citi products, and data flows to strengthen domain knowledge for project objectives. Apply hands-on data analysis, profiling, troubleshooting and issue resolution. Act as owner and team player, influence collaboration across teams, and align to project and management directives. Manage regulatory delivery scope, provide oversight and govern project execution from planning to post-implementation for major and minor releases. Deliver all phases of project deliverables with attention to detail and independence. Drive innovative solutions and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed. Identify and communicate risks and impacts, and propose risk mitigation options considering business implications of technology applications. Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications and collaborate with multiple management teams to meet organizational objectives. Provide timely status reporting on project progress. Develop knowledge of how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to accomplish goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. Engage in design forums and make recommendations based on lessons learned. Pursue continuous improvements in managing data assets. Ensure 100% adherence to compliance, controls and data access reviews in a timely manner.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience using codes for statistical modeling of large data sets, apps development, systems analysis, maintenance and support. 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and a proven track record. 5+ years of experience in system analysis and programming of software applications. 4+ years of experience with visualization, data lineage/tracing tools. Experience with ETL, data lineage, Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Cloud, Big Data/Hadoop. Experience in AI/ML. Experience in leading support functions. Experience in managing, supporting and delivering successful projects. Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development & Support. Strong leadership and project management skills. Clear and concise written and verbal communication. Approximately 6+ years of experience handling large volumes of data or DWH/EDW/Big Data platforms. Approximately 8+ years of experience in data projects with a proven track record of managing technical deliveries. Prior experience with data standards is an advantage. Prior experience in software maintenance is an advantage.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS or equivalent experience. Job Details

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00 In addition to salary, Citis offerings may include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
