Overview
Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading provider of broadcast managed services. The Director of Managed Services Staffing will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development, operations, and execution of staffing and HR solutions within our Managed Services division, as well as serving as the Human Resource Manager. This role will lead workforce planning, recruiting, client relationship management, and delivery of high-quality staffing services to support our Enterprise client teams with a focus on broadcast, production, creative, and media. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership to align staffing operations with business goals, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and consistent service excellence.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the staffing strategy for Managed Services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
Strategic Leadership Drive initiatives to optimize recruiting, workforce utilization, service delivery, and client satisfaction.
Strategic Leadership Anticipate industry trends and build innovative staffing models that support business growth.
Operational Management Oversee daily staffing operations, including workforce scheduling, resource allocation, and performance management.
Operational Management Establish KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms to measure efficiency, productivity, and client outcomes.
Operational Management Ensure compliance with employment laws, client-specific regulations, and internal policies.
Client & Vendor Relations Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, building strong relationships and ensuring their staffing needs are met effectively.
Client & Vendor Relations Manage relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and partners to expand delivery capabilities and enhance operational efficiency.
Client & Vendor Relations Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality staffing solutions that meet organizational needs.
Client & Vendor Relations Act as executive sponsor for enterprise staffing clients.
Client & Vendor Relations Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities for additional managed services.
Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing staffing team, including managers, recruiters, and coordinators.
Team Leadership & Development Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Team Leadership & Development Provide leadership training, development opportunities, and succession planning for team members.
Human Resource Management Designing and updating job descriptions
Human Resource Management Manage employee benefit package and negotiate renewal rates.
Human Resource Management Sourcing candidates: Using online channels, job boards, and social media to find potential candidates
Human Resource Management Screening: Reviewing resumes and applications
Human Resource Management Interviewing: Conducting interviews by phone, video, or in person
Human Resource Management Evaluating: Preparing and administering tests and evaluating candidates
Human Resource Management Shortlisting: Providing hiring managers with a list of qualified candidates
Human Resource Management Negotiating: Negotiating job offers and answering questions about compensation and benefits
Human Resource Management Tracking: Monitoring metrics like time-to-fill and time-to-hire
Human Resource Management Onboarding: Helping new hires get onboarded
Human Resource Management Employer brand: Building a strong employer brand by finding the right candidate for the job
Human Resource Management Job offers: Conducts new hire orientations and employee relations counseling.
Human Resource Management Conducts employee onboarding, educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
Human Resource Management Collaboration: Working with managers to identify future hiring needs
Human Resource Management Travel to job fairs or visit universities to find top talent.
Human Resource Management Knowledge of and ability to implement HR-related tasks, processes, and projects to ensure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Human Resource Management Fosters a diverse and inclusive culture and makes recommendations to ensure all talent policies and procedures are diverse, equitable, and inclusive for all employees.
Human Resource Management Conducts offboarding activities, including exit interviews.
Human Resource Management Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including USCIS Form I9 employment eligibility verification.
Human Resource Management Maintains and updates physical and digital files for employees’ documents, benefits, and attendance records.
Human Resource Management Provides support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolves any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
5+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, managed services, or workforce solutions
Proven track record in building and scaling staffing operations for enterprise-level clients.
Strong understanding of workforce management tools, HR systems, and service delivery models.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with global staffing and vendor management
Familiarity with managed services staffing models (Employer of Record) in IT, professional services, or other relevant sectors.
Data-driven approach to workforce planning and operational efficiency.
Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiations.
