They are seeking a
Director of Machine Learning
to set the technical direction for multiple teams and deliver high-impact, production-ready AI capabilities. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of hands-on technical problem-solving and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams spanning data science, ML engineering, and application development.
Define and deliver a multi-year roadmap for machine learning initiatives, from early-stage R&D to scaled deployment.
Partner with hardware, software, and product leaders to ensure integrated, reliable solutions.
Provide technical oversight, engage in architecture decisions, and solve complex engineering challenges.
Build a strong, inclusive team culture while mentoring future technical leaders.
Drive adoption of best practices in ML model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Qualifications
10+ years in ML or related technical fields, including at least 4 years in a leadership position managing managers and senior engineers.
Proven record of delivering large-scale ML solutions, ideally in computer vision (e.g., object detection, tracking, or re-identification).
Strong experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and GPU acceleration (CUDA, TensorRT).
Skilled in modern software development and cloud-based ML deployment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
