Job Purpose The

Director, Clinical Applications - Oncology

is responsible for directing, managing, and leading all activities of the national organization of Molecular Imaging Specialists for Blue Earth Diagnostics’ commercial objectives.

The Director, Clinical Applications - Oncology will drive the organizational efforts of the Company’s Molecular Imaging Specialists (MIS), supporting education for the Company and its PET customers, and enhancing and strengthening the level of service offered by the Company to existing, new, and potential customers. This position will also be a part of the Clinical and Sales Leadership team and will ensure continued skill development of the Molecular Imaging Specialist team, development of educational and training programs, clinical best practices, and facilitate internal collaboration to develop, maintain, and grow the Company’s PET market.

Main Responsibilities, Activities, Duties and Tasks

Create the MIS organization’s strategy to reflect the evolving market dynamics, including talent requirements, and to align with Company sales strategy.

Anticipate new client demands, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.

Maintain Company image as an industry leader.

Market Execution

Plan, organize, and direct the MIS organization to ensure clinical support of PET customers through training, management, and customer support activities required to achieve or exceed sales objectives on a consistent basis.

Commercial Operations

Drive continuous improvements in business processes for the MIS organization to support Company PET sales and ongoing needs of the Field Sales organization for clinical information and support.

Building of Relationships

Build strong internal ties with the Sales and Clinical Leadership team, Field Sales organization, Marketing, and Medical.

Identify, establish, and nurture trust relationships with decision makers for the PET Imaging market.

Develops and maintains relationships with national and regional KOLs.

Compliance

Build strong internal ties with the Compliance and Regulatory leadership teams to maintain corporate compliance policies and enforce the compliance policies with the MIS team.

Team Development

Assess, develop and motivate the MIS organization.

Make selective talent upgrades as needed to develop world-class, high-functioning organization.

Develop and execute a tight performance management process to drive standard evaluations of MIS including peer reviews of scorecards and multiple level involvement to drive consistent performance.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing the MIS team within the commercial organization.

Education/Qualifications

BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field

Professional Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills

10+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or director-level role.

A candidate with clinical experience that includes knowledge of nuclear radiography with appropriate imaging or medical credentialing is highly preferred.

Experience with PET/Molecular Imaging preferred

The position is field based. The majority of time will be spent on customer facing activities both virtual and in-person.

Ability to travel domestically 40% of the time on average, including overnight stays.

Must be a licensed driver without restrictions and able to drive a car.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Field Commercial Credentialing demands various vaccinations and background check requirements.

Candidates must comply with all credentialing obligations, including a 10-panel drug screen, in order to have access to the medical facilities conducting business with Blue Earth Diagnostics.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, where permitted by applicable law, all candidates must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.

Base pay range $185,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr
