Job Title: IT Business Partner - Corporate Group Reporting To: Director, IT Trans Prog Office Work Schedule: Hybrid – Buffalo, NY Responsibilities
As Information Technology IT Business Partner, you will act as a bridge between the Technology department and business units within the organization. Your primary role is to ensure that the technology strategy aligns with the business goals and that technology services support business needs effectively. Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and needs. Align IT strategies and initiatives with business objectives to drive growth and efficiency.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships between IT and business units. Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on technology matters. Develop and maintain strong relationships within Corporate IT.
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
Work with business teams to gather and analyze requirements for IT solutions. Translate business needs into technical specifications for the IT team.
Manage IT Intake process
Review system project requests from user base. Evaluate, prioritize, and resource all requests appropriately.
Project Oversight and Coordination
Facilitate communication and coordination between the IT development teams and business units. Ensure IT projects meet business expectations, timelines, and budgets.
Performance Management
Monitor the effectiveness of IT support services and solutions in meeting business needs. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in IT service delivery.
Change Management
Assist in managing organizational change related to IT implementations. Support training and adoption efforts among business users.
Risk Management and Compliance
Identify potential risks associated with IT initiatives impacting the business. Ensure IT practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Reporting and Communication
Provide regular updates to business leaders on IT performance and project status. Communicate IT capabilities to business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Over five years of closely related industry experience, including:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and production planning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. Proven track record in managing cross-functional projects involving multiple integrated systems. Excellent communication skills to effectively manage relationships with diverse business and technical stakeholders. Project and change management experience is desirable.
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: Buffalo, NY $125,000.00–$165,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog's salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range is just one component of Moog's total compensation package.
