Location: San Francisco, CA What You'll Own
Define and own the technical architecture across backend, AI, and data pipelines Lead MVP buildout, infrastructure setup, and future-proof product scaffolding Evaluate and implement tools across AI/ML frameworks, blockchain data infra, and real-time event streaming Manage and scale a lean technical team, including hiring, mentoring, and vendor/contractor oversight Work closely with founders on product direction, technical milestones, and launch readiness (Optional) Represent the project at hackathons and technical forums, if comfortable What Were Looking For
4-7 years experience in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in crypto or AI/infra Strong backend or data infra background (e.g., event pipelines, smart contract indexing, real-time data) Proven experience building from scratch at early-stage startups or small product teams Comfort working in a fast-moving, lean environment Familiarity with AI/ML tooling, blockchain infra, or Web3 indexers a strong plus Bonus: experience shipping trading platforms, DeFi dashboards, or similar data products Stack We're Exploring
Next.js, Vercel, Prisma, PostgreSQL OpenAI + Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Web3 data sources (e.g., Dune, Flipside, Moralis, custom indexers) Langchain, Python, TypeScript Compensation
