Overview
As the Executive Director of Marketing at
Coastal Ridge Real Estate , you’ll serve as the strategic leader for all marketing efforts. You’ll create, implement, and refine data-informed marketing strategies that directly drive property performance and elevate the brand value of the organization. This role is a key member of our senior leadership team, guiding high-impact projects, implementing streamlined processes, and building the marketing infrastructure necessary to scale with the company’s long-term growth. You’ll lead and grow a high-performing marketing team while managing accountability, cross-functional alignment, and operational excellence across our portfolio of more than 40,000 conventional multifamily, build-to-rent, scattered-site, and student housing units and beds nationwide. Provide strategic oversight and leadership to the growing marketing team of 20+ marketing professionals and all core department functions including marketing operations, strategic account management, creative services, digital services, and corporate branding and communications. Develop and lead comprehensive multifamily marketing strategies and effective account management to drive brand awareness, qualified lead generation, and property performance. Identify opportunities for continued innovation, process, and performance for in-house digital marketing team execution to surpass industry standards. Collaborate closely with Operations to align marketing initiatives with occupancy and revenue goals, ensuring transparency into campaign ROI. Establish benchmarks and marketing KPIs by asset class and market; create a cadence for reporting and analysis to inform ongoing optimization. Manage third-party vendor relationships (SEO, SEM, ILS, paid media, branding, reputation management) to drive performance, innovation, and cost-effectiveness. Build and implement a marketing project management framework to track deliverables, resources, timelines, and dependencies across all initiatives. Create and refine standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing workflows across asset types to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency. Develop marketing dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into portfolio-wide campaign performance and team contributions. Build cross-functional relationships across all departments and provide proactive marketing support to all business units including Coastal Ridge Investments, Development, Investor Relations, Business Development, and Peak Property Group. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement through team leadership, collaboration, and cross-functional engagement. Other duties and projects as directed and assigned. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field, preferred Minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience, preference given to agency or extensive multifamily experience Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, specifically SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and other applicable technologies for search and social media optimization Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Who You Are
