Overview
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $2 billion Indiana credit union in the search for a Vice President of Credit Solutions & Loss Mitigation. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategies around loss prevention, collections, and fraud mitigation, while serving as the Identity Theft Red Flags Officer. The VP will oversee functions including fraud prevention, investigations, Reg E disputes, bankruptcy, collateral protection, asset recovery, and collection operations for past-due loans, repossessions, charge-offs, and legal actions. Responsibilities
Lead strategy and execution of loss mitigation and collections. Oversee fraud prevention, investigations, and asset recovery. Manage delinquency forecasting, charge-off budgeting, and loss analysis. Direct vendor relationships with third-party collection, legal, and recovery partners. Develop policies, procedures, and compliance programs. Provide reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership. Guide and develop the Loss Mitigation team. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 8–10 years of progressive experience in loss mitigation, collections, or related financial services. Strong leadership, analytical, and compliance expertise. Seniority level
