Overview
The Staff Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. They will provide reporting and provide support to management at both the local and corporate level.
Responsibilities
Uphold the company values, vision, and mission.
Support the development, implementation, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Perform monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of supporting documentation.
Execute month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports in compliance with GAAP.
Review the general ledger for accuracy, ensuring proper classifications, postings, and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage sales tax compliance and reporting.
Record payroll entries and prepare month-end accruals.
Oversee inventory control, including monitoring cycle counts, inventory in transit, and ensuring accurate inventory balances.
Prepare financial reports and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
Assist with the annual financial audit, serving as a point of contact for auditors.
Collaborate with the CFO and Controller on ad hoc projects.
Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams regarding collections and payments.
Uphold the quality policy.
Follows safety requirements.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
Five years or more of related experience required in a manufacturing environment.
CPA designation highly preferred

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledgeable of ERP systems
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
BA/BS in Accounting, are preferred

Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-Time Salary position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
Travel Up to 5%
Pay Range $95,000.00 Annually to $105,000.00 Annually
