Position Overview

The role is a newly created position due to growth and will be a key member of the expanding Accounting & Control team reporting directly to the VP, Control & Accounting. This is a key position with responsibility for providing day-to-day oversight of the Revenue/AR and AP accounting function for several member companies within the PPHC umbrella. This position will report to the Washington, D.C. office 3 days per week. This role will ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606), while supporting billing efforts and payment of vendors. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and drive continuous improvement while navigating the complexities of a growing global business in a US Pubco environment. As part of a growing company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate reporting and developing a seamless, efficient, and scalable accounting experience for all stakeholders. Responsibilities

Oversight:

Own the monthly close process for your entities and maintain strong working relationships with member company liaisons and key stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Revenue and AP processes. Coaching:

Lead and mentor team members, fostering growth-mindset, high-performance and collaborative team environment Revenue Accounting:

Oversee the revenue accounting function for member companies, ensuring timely, accurate, and efficient revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606. Lead the technical accounting review of customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition. Accounts Payable:

Oversee the accounts payable function for member companies, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports. Ensure necessary accruals are captured for month-end reporting. Audit Readiness:

Maintain a robust framework for organizing financial records to ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external requirements. Coordinate with auditors during the year-end/quarterly audits and comfortable explaining complex accounting matters with audit partners. Qualifications

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, 5+ years’ public company experience with at least 2 years in revenue accounting 4+ years of people management experience; demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities, both as a people manager and a project leader Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, especially ASC 606 and experience in implementing technical accounting guidance Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley in a domestic SEC filer environment Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Be able to adjust to flexible work schedules Proven ability to operate with integrity and ethics, and maintain highest standards of confidentiality Preferred qualifications

Experience in a Professional Services business Experience in a high-growth or mid-sized company environment Experience with Deltek Maconomy or similar ERPs Experience with Floqast preferred Experience with Workiva Controls platform preferred What We Offer
