Leading and influencing strategic financial decisions to drive long-term growth and profitability, including evaluating pricing strategies and investments in new services and features Full P&L ownership of all services and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Sales to assess financial implications of initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and improve free cash flow Influencing private pricing structures to enable top line growth while ensuring controllership and margin protection Managing projects that significantly impact the business, including partnering with engineering teams to identify and implement infrastructure cost optimizations Leading the OP1/OP2 and R&O planning processes, including evolving forecasting approaches to align with changing business needs and clearly presenting business drivers to senior leadership Contributing with deep-dive analyses and insights in Weekly, Quarterly, and Monthly Business Reviews Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field Preferred Qualifications
MBA, MS in Finance, CFA or related field Demonstrated ability to develop and present analyses and insights to senior management Experience in implementing financial reporting and scalable processes Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion Strong communication skills, including influencing decisions through verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and presenting alternatives Strong passion for complex problem solving Excellent Excel skills Compensation and Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
