Koniag Government Services (KGS) is seeking a
Junior Analyst
to support
Koniag Professional Services
(KPS) and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. Responsibilities
Assist with program evaluation and performance measurement activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Manage data requests and collections related to Bureau programmatic priorities.
Assist with analyses and drafting of results reporting.
Provide support for major organizational analysis, design, and implementation projects.
Maintain a close and highly responsive relationship with the office's day-to-day activities.
Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables as agreed upon between the staff contractor and Bureau COR and Office/Division supervisor.
Perform various office support duties/functions as required.
Assist in tracking document flow and clearance processes and distribute documents to appropriate personnel.
Education and Experience
Education and/or work experience related to statistical and research methodology is required.
Familiarity with performance measurement, evaluation, surveying, and the use of metrics to track organizational performance is essential.
Experience in preparing and implementing reporting mechanisms, processes, and procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with database management and analyses of quantitative and qualitative data is advantageous.
Required Skills and Competencies
Knowledge of the principles and methods applicable to researching, analyzing, and writing regulatory material and related issue/policy memoranda and interpretations.
Knowledge and application of statistical data analysis and data management software (e.g., SPSS).
Familiarity with principles and practices of knowledge management.
Familiarity with formulating, writing, and implementing reporting mechanisms, policies, processes, and procedures.
Familiarity with the requirements of submitting Federal Register Notices, and the drafting of such Notices.
Demonstrated skills in database management, data entry, mining, analysis, and reporting.
Ability to learn and work with database applications.
Demonstrated skills or knowledge of global internet access and research capabilities.
Demonstrated skills in program administration, operating procedures, oversight, and monitoring.
Facility with standard software, including the complete Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and the ability to learn and work with other software and database applications.
Strong, timely, and precise organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities.
Strong critical and creative thinking and analytical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong ability to adopt a flexible, team-oriented approach to work.
Excellent ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues.
Desired Skills and Competencies
Exposure to U.S. foreign affairs agencies and/or international organizations is preferred.
Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.
