Responsibilities

Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable, and extendable code

Work closely with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions

Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and support

Use best practices and experience to design, code, build, and test performance and scalable software solutions

Collaborate with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements

Use technical knowledge and experience to resolve development and support issues

Be able to prioritize tasks and work concurrently on multiple tasks

Participate in Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases

Collaborate with peers to meet project timelines

Investigate and resolve bugs and issues within the application and identify root causes to ensure timely resolution

Stay current with the latest industry trends, including AI technologies and tools to improve the development process

Perform other job duties as assigned

Demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a highly dynamic environment

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

7+ years of software engineering experience

7+ years of experience in software development with solid expertise in Java, Spring frameworks, open-source frameworks, source control/git/GitHub

7+ years of SDLC or DevOps/Agile experience

7+ years of experience and understanding of DB design concepts SQL, NoSQL/MongoDB

7+ years of experience and familiarity with automated deployments & Unit testing technologies i.e., Jenkins/JUnit

6+ years of development and testing experience with either Java, and/or related tools/software

5+ years of experience working for Cloud Azure, AWS along with Terraform

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Expert understanding of engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, Agile and DevOps

Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

High degree of expertise in developing solutions hosted on AWS and Azure

Expert in deploying infrastructure and applications using Terraform and GitHub Actions

Expert in understanding Microservices architecture

Expert with modern software engineering and product development processes, including Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps

Expert in developing REST/JSON APIs, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kubernetes

Proven ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment and drive technological innovation to meet business needs

Proven solid organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

Excellent self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team

Healthcare domain knowledge (e.g., Risk Adjustment or STARS HEDIS)

Ability to work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information

Compensation and Benefits Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (subject to eligibility). Salaries vary by location and experience. This role pays between $89,900 and $160,600 annually for full-time employment. We comply with all applicable wage laws.
