As a result, we are growing and looking to add talented Project Engineers to our dynamic firm. As Project Engineer, you will assist with all aspects of our projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This position requires working onsite at the Norcon office or corresponding jobsite.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with preparing project subcontractor bid list Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors through bid software and verbal outreach Perform quantity takeoffs for all trades related to constructing a project Assist with preparation of scopes of work and review with subcontractors Review and prepare submittals and generate RFI’s Maintain and prepare submittal and RFI logs Generate and track ROJ logs Generate and track QAQC lists Assist with preparing pricing for change orders Develop, distribute, and track all correspondence related to the project documents – drawings, sketches, specifications, addenda bid RFI responses, submittals, etc. Assist with project closeout such as compiling O&M manuals, distributing close-out letters and tracking punch list items to completion Other duties as assigned Qualifications
Construction industry experience or a related field is preferred Other Requirements Ability to travel to job sites and vendor locations Be responsible and accountable for projects Have strong negotiation and analytical skills Be strongly committed to safety Driver's License (Required) How to Apply
