Overview
Seeking a mid-level litigation paralegal with 3-7 years of experience within a large firm or specialized litigation boutiques, handling complex litigation, investigations, and arbitration matters.
Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in an Amlaw 100 firm or specialized litigation/dispute resolution firm.
Expertise in all litigation stages, including e-discovery tools, e-filing, and trial preparation.
Experience with trial or arbitration proceedings preferred.
Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Effective multitasking and ownership of tasks with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of cite-checking, Bluebook rules, and California Style Manual (preferred).
Other: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and commit to overtime or travel as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of litigation case management, including document organization, case calendaring, discovery, and trial preparation.
Collaborate with attorneys and senior paralegals; oversee junior paralegals or support staff as needed.
Coordinate with courts, government entities, expert witnesses, vendors, and other law firms.
Draft, review, and analyze legal documents; conduct legal research under attorney supervision.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional discretion regarding sensitive firm and client information.
Continuously develop skills to adapt to changes in the legal profession.
