Recruiting Assistant, Temporary Division
The HR Benefits Administrator plays a vital role in delivering a seamless and supportive employee experience by managing the daily administration of the benefits and leave programs. From health, dental, and vision coverage to life insurance, disability, and time away, this role ensures employees understand and maximize their benefits while keeping all processes compliant and efficient. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a people-first mindset, someone who can balance accuracy and compliance with empathy and exceptional service. Please note: This is a long-term temporary position. ASAP start through Q1 2027. Responsibilities
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefit inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Provide training and guidance to employees and managers regarding benefits and leave policies. Assist with the intake of the leave of absence process, including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, and other company-sponsored leave programs. Maintain accurate employee benefits records and process benefits changes in HRIS and vendor systems. Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions and leave-related pay adjustments. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA. Assist with benefits open enrollment, including employee communications, system setup, and enrollment tracking. Work with third-party vendors to manage benefits offerings, claims issues, and service escalations. Generate reports and analyze benefits data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Ideal Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in HR benefits administration, including knowledge of HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and other federal and state compliance regulations, and retirement plan administration. Experience working with HRIS and HR benefits administration platforms. Excellent communication, customer service, and collaboration skills. Strong attention to detail with proven organizational and project management abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Skilled in time management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments. Analytical and problem-solving abilities; adapts well under pressure and changing priorities. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements. Quick to learn organizational structures, policies, and systems. Ability to travel occasionally to other offices and/or to vendor partner meetings.
