Marketing & Sales Assistant
to support our outreach efforts and help grow our brand and customer base. Overview
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who is
equal parts persuasive communicator and creative thinker . The position is
75% sales-focused , with responsibilities including cold calling, lead generation, and sales support. The remaining
25%
will focus on supporting the Marketing Department with writing, design, and content production. This role is a great fit for someone who is eager to build client relationships, comfortable initiating conversations with new contacts, and excited to support creative projects that elevate the brand. Key Responsibilities
Conduct cold calls and email outreach to school administrators and district-level decision-makers. Qualify leads and schedule product demos for senior staff. Maintain accurate records of outreach and follow-ups in CRM systems. Assist in developing and updating lead lists based on marketing campaigns or territory goals. Support the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts. Act as a point of contact for inbound sales inquiries and provide product information. Marketing Support (25%)
Assist in designing and updating marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and email templates. Write and edit content for newsletters, blogs, web pages, and product messaging. Update and maintain the company website using WordPress. Help coordinate logistics for conferences, tradeshows, or webinars. Track performance of email campaigns and social media efforts. Requirements & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a sales or marketing role; cold calling experience highly preferred. Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills. Excellent writing and editing abilities, with attention to tone, clarity, and grammar. Strong graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar tools). Familiarity with WordPress or basic website content management. Comfortable using or learning CRM tools and prospecting databases. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Professional, goal-oriented, and self-motivated. Strong team player who can also work independently. Preferred but Not Required:
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator). Background working with schools, EdTech, or education-adjacent fields. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and analytics tools. Understanding of SEO and lead-nurturing tactics. Seniority level
