A respected Baltimore-based law firm is seeking a skilled Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its litigation practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong deposition experience and a passion for strategic advocacy. The attorney will play a central role in managing depositions across a variety of complex commercial disputes. Key Responsibilities
Lead and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Prepare clients and witnesses for deposition and trial testimony Draft and respond to discovery requests, motions, and pleadings Develop litigation strategy in coordination with senior attorneys Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and arbitrations Manage caseload efficiently to meet billable hour requirements Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active Maryland Bar license in good standing Minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience Demonstrated expertise in deposition strategy and execution Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Performance Expectations
Annual billable hour requirement: 1,650 hours Commitment to high-quality client service and professional integrity Timely and effective communication with clients and colleagues Competitive salary commensurate with experience Benefits
