Overview We are looking for a Sr IT Auditor to join LendingClub Internal Audit (LCIA). LCIA provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services. As a business partner, LCIA helps the Company accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. We seek an objective, highly skilled Sr IT Auditor who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to change. The candidate will bring internal audit and financial services experiences to deliver audit assurance and to help innovate the function’s methods, tools, and assurance capabilities.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the audit engagement lead by receiving general instructions to conduct test of design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across business units

Independently complete limited to moderate complexity work in alignment with policies, procedures, and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards with oversight and direction provided by leads and other more senior team members

Assist with audit planning and reporting deliverables

Validate final issue remediation actions

Provide basic guidance and direction to more junior or newer team members through new hire onboarding or within audit fieldwork

Stay up to date with new audit standards, regulations, and industry trends and share information with the broader team

Take ownership of personal development, including pursuing relevant training and certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP)

Follow internal audit guidance consistently in executing responsibilities

Adapt prior knowledge and audit learnings to new audits

Qualifications / About You

3+ years of internal IT Audit experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, MIS, CS, or related field of study; or equivalent work experience

Ability to obtain or currently hold one or more of the following certifications: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP

Experience with evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT controls related to applications, databases, networks, cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity programs

Knowledge of banking regulations and IT risk frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001)

Experience using Audit Management Tools/Systems (e.g., AuditBoard, Workiva, MetricStream, etc.)

Able to collaborate effectively in a team setting and quickly learn and apply new concepts

Good understanding of audit and risk management concepts

Intermediate analytical and critical thinking skills, including the use of Excel for data analytics

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of audit testing techniques

Work Location San Francisco

The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. LendingClub offers relocation, based on actual job level.

Time Zone Requirements Primarily PT

While the position will primarily work local hours, LendingClub is headquartered in Pacific Time and our ideal candidate will be flexible working across time zones when necessary.

Travel Requirements Monthly/quarterly/as needed travel to LendingClub offices and/or other locations, as needed.

Compensation The target base salary range for this position is 100,000-112,000. The base salary of the role will be determined by job-related knowledge, experience, education, skills, and location. Base salary is just one part of LendingClub’s Total Rewards package. You may also be eligible for long-term awards (equity) and an annual bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings).
