This role can be filled at the AVP or 2VP level depending upon experience. Job Summary
The AVP or 2VP Investment Reporting and Data is responsible for overseeing management, performance, and compliance reporting for Nassaus asset management business. This role performs analysis and reporting on the investment portfolio and the overall asset management business, and oversees the team that supports the systems, data, and processes that produce this reporting. Principal Duties And Responsibilities Develop and prepare monthly and quarterly board and management meeting materials, portfolio analysis presentations, performance, risk, and compliance reporting to provide to CIO, CRO, and the front office. Produce meaningful reporting commentary via thorough analysis. Identify performance drivers, risks, and exposures, and respond to questions and inquiries from internal and external constituents. Compile investment data and analysis on demand to support significant business initiatives and transactions. Analyze investment data and coordinate controls and remediations with investment finance and operations. Maintain portfolio management dashboard (Allvue OMS). Maintain FactSet asset modeling information, performance and risk dashboards, and Intex cash flow projections for structured securities. Manage investment data warehouse. Source data and produce peer company analysis. Manage, lead, and develop staff while also being heavily involved in performing detailed work. May at times manage external client reporting. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
10+ years of experience in investments, particularly in developing process and delivery of management, performance, and risk reporting. Ability to quickly acclimate to Nassaus portfolio and business. Bachelors degree required. Concentration in Finance/Accounting preferred. Experience in insurance/reinsurance industry preferred. Proficient in asset modeling software, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience managing a team to execute and deliver effectively. Direct experience with FactSet, Clearwater, and Intex is preferred but not required. Related experience with Aladdin, Bloomberg, BondEdge, Trepp, or other similar systems is desirable. Natural self-starter with an appreciation for extreme ownership, accountability, and commitment to the intensity and challenges presented by the needs of a growing and developing business. General knowledge of both GAAP and Statutory insurance accounting desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation
