KPMG is currently seeking a Director to join our KPMG Strategy practice. Responsibilities
Serve as a key advisor to identify and direct enterprise-wide procurement and sourcing strategy projects Oversee client deliverables across private equity and corporate industry sectors; manage the presentation of final project deliverables and advise persuasively, earning the position of a trusted advisor Help lead business development initiatives focused on operations and procurement improvement strategies including targeting key C- level individuals and proposing KPMG\'s services Work closely with business stakeholders and align with clients on sourcing and procurement project objectives, structure key activities and deliverables, conduct in-depth assessments, source across a wide range of categories, improve sourcing and procurement processes, reach consensus on bottom line cost reduction strategies, and facilitate implementation of changes Act as the primary team interface with various levels of client executives up to and including C-level Participate in professional development of KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff Qualifications
Minimum of eight years of recent, external consulting experience in a client facing strategy, discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy or Big 4 consulting firm in procurement strategy, or a combination of eight years in procurement consulting and work experience in a high impact procurement related industry role which includes C-level communications and presentations Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master\'s degree in Business Administration from an accredited college or university is preferred Deep industry knowledge and experience in one or more of KPMG’s key industry sectors Hands-on experience at a strategic C-level delivering bottom line financial impact via strategic sourcing and tactical procurement as well as delivering cost savings across a wide range of categories and deep experience in cost reduction techniques (technical cost reduction, target cost modelling, etc.) Experience in new business development and developing client relationships within a professional services environment Willingness and ability to travel Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
