Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Activities Director to join our team at our facility in Sterling Heights. The Activities Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational and social activities for our residents. This individual will work closely with staff, residents, and families to ensure that our residents have a fulfilling and engaging experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a calendar of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents
Coordinate and lead group activities, outings, and events
Work with residents to identify their preferences and incorporate them into the activity schedule
Collaborate with staff to ensure that activities are inclusive and accessible to all residents
Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident feedback
Qualifications
Activity Director Certified
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for working with older adults and creating a positive and engaging environment
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
