We are seeking a software engineer to help with the development of a application that controls a battery manage systems. This system is part of a renewable energy, green energy systems that is revolutionizing how companies can store and release energy gained from wind, water, and solar power systems. The goal of our partner is to create 100% renewable energy for the entire world! Responsibilities Protect against failure and safety functions Connect the battery management systems to the end source Track aging and performance of the battery
Day to Day
This is a system being created from scratch so the person need will be writing brand new code, sometimes with minimal requirements defined Using model and simulation tools for testing Attend and participate in Scrum meetings Participate in customer demos and reviews

Required Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related 2+ Years of experience writing C++ software on a Linux OS Experience with software messaging (ideally with ZeroMQ) Experience writing containerized software (Docker or Kubernetes)
Preferred Experience:
Simulink (used for testing) Knowledge of modern DevOps Processes Industrial Process Control Systems (MODBUS, CAN-BUS, etc) Experience writing simple UIs using bootstraps, HTML, and Python Experience with Embedded SW or Electrical board bring up Experience with a RTOSs

Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
