Responsibilities
Maintains positive internal and external customer service relationships
Manages the agency’s program through delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel according to their abilities and defined responsibilities
Monitors methods of program administration, planning, supervising, and evaluating
Monitors day-to-day compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements
Manages the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
Establishes functions and qualifications for all personnel
Determines staffing needs and patterns according to program requirement and with consideration for utilization of personnel at their maximum potential
Authorizes appointments to staff positions in collaboration with the VP of Operations
Oversees compliance with personnel policies and procedures
Negotiate and execute contracts with community providers for service and monitor program compliance with contractual agreements
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program strongly preferred
Minimum Associate degree in business, healthcare or a related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or administrative experience in a hospice or home health setting
Experienced in program administration including knowledge of healthcare policies and reimbursement practices
Must have reliable transportation, current driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance
