Director of Engineering Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Oceaneering, Robotics, or a related discipline. Proven expertise in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and sound decision-making. Track record of successfully managing complex engineering programs from concept through implementation. Hands-on experience in the design and development of autonomous systems for underwater applications. Strong leadership background with 10+ years in cross-functional engineering management. Deep knowledge of underwater vehicle dynamics, control systems, and advanced sensor technologies. Previous AUV, Subsea Robotics, Marine Autonomy, UAV, Robotics production experience required. What will you be doing?

Lead and inspire the engineering team in designing, developing, and deploying autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Define and execute the strategic vision for AUV programs, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives. Oversee project delivery, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to drive successful outcomes. Partner with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to optimize product performance and reliability. Direct testing, validation, and field trials to guarantee safety and effectiveness in diverse marine conditions. Champion innovation by promoting research into emerging technologies and advanced methodologies in underwater robotics. Seniority level
