Base pay range:

Virtual interviews via web portals or phone may be offered; in-person interviews will be offered if conditions permit. The ITS II works under the general direction of the IT Manager I and serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert in data administration and data management; provides IT strategy and policy guidance and may lead lower-level staff. It may work in the Software Engineering, System Engineering, and Information Security domains, with limited work in IT Project Management; may lead staff in Business Technology Management and Client Services domains. Develops and updates Data and GIS inventories and performs data classification with CPUC program staff and the Information Security Office. Provides applications support for systems developed in Python and R, and supports RedHat Linux, Anaconda, and PostgreSQL environments. Provides data warehouse support, including developing strategies to migrate siloed data to the CPUC data warehouse to support Enterprise Data Analytics.
