Judson Group
Judson Group has been retained by a premier, independent, and award-winning multi-family office and private investment firm that is redefining the way wealth is experienced. With a commitment to exceptional client outcomes, our client is on a mission to fully optimize both life and wealth—ensuring that every financial decision aligns with a client's deepest values and long-term vision.
We're searching for a sophisticated, polished
MFO Wealth Planner (CFP)
with deep expertise in complex financial planning. You’ll be a strategic partner to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners, guiding them through meaningful planning engagements while collaborating with a high-performing team of Wealth Advisors, private bankers, attorneys, and tax professionals.
This role is built for a best-in-class planner—not an investment generalist. If you thrive in deep planning conversations, enjoy solving intricate client problems, and want to make a lasting impact at a highly respected firm, this is the opportunity for you.
Why You’ll Love This Role
Work directly with some of the most accomplished families and entrepreneurs, helping them design plans that secure generational impact.
Step into a firm that values true planning expertise—this is not a sales-driven environment. Your knowledge is the product.
Join a team of elite professionals—advisors, attorneys, tax pros—who share your passion for doing what's right for the client.
Be part of a firm that believes in reimagining the wealth experience—where values, life, and legacy are just as important as assets.
This firm invests in your development through continuing education, thought leadership, and a culture that prizes intellectual curiosity.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design and deliver highly customized financial plans for sophisticated clients and their families.
Translate complex planning strategies into clear, engaging conversations and presentations.
Act as a strategic advisor to clients, alongside their trusted team of legal, tax, and financial professionals.
Lead and support client review meetings, alongside Wealth Advisors.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes through planning.
Stay ahead of planning trends, legislation, and best practices—and apply them with confidence.
Leverage best-in-class planning technology (eMoney, Salesforce, etc.) to deliver and scale advice.
Maintain the highest levels of client confidentiality, integrity, and trust.
What We’re Looking For
CFP designation is required (JD, CPA, LLM also highly valued).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
CPWA or advanced degrees are a plus.
10+ years of experience in financial services, with 5+ years focused on planning for UHNW clients (9-figure households).
Exceptional knowledge in estate planning, tax strategies, wealth transfer, philanthropic structuring, and risk management.
Proven ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively—both with clients and colleagues.
Creative problem-solver who is resourceful, strategic, and calm under pressure.
A commitment to excellence, continued learning, and ethical responsibility.
Very competitive base salary + bonus
