Responsibilities As a Federal Pursuits Manager, your key responsibilities will be to identify and pursue new federal opportunities for the Michels Family of Companies, develop and manage relationships with key federal agencies and clients, and serve as an ambassador who promotes the organization as a contractor of choice.

What it takes

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management or related degree, 5+ years of experience in project management, business development, or related field

Understanding of federal procurement process, acquisition strategies, and contract vehicles

Experience with commercial and government systems that support the federal acquisition process, e.g., Deltek GovWin, FedBizOpps (FBO), and the System for Award Management (SAM)

Proven success in securing and/or managing federal projects $25M+

Civil Construction experience is desired

Ability and willingness to travel about 50%

Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as determined by Michels Review Team
