Overview
Location: Charlotte, NC & Addison, TX (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise-scale ML/NLP solutions including Named Entity Recognition, Document Classification, Document Summarization, Topic Modelling, Dialog Systems, Sentiment Analysis, and OCR text processing.
Set up supervised and unsupervised ML/NLP models, including data cleaning, data analytics, feature creation, model selection and ensemble methods, performance metrics, and visualization.
Develop ML/NLP pipelines for large data sets, both structured and unstructured.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience as Data Scientist or related roles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Deep understanding and some exposure to Generative AI open-source models
At least 5 years programming experience in software development and Agile processes
At least 5 years Python (or equivalent) programming experience to work with ML/NLP models
Experience in designing and implementing OCR and other data processing components
Desired Skills / Experience
Master’s degree in Computer Science/Data Science or related field
Collaborating with a diverse set of partners and stakeholders from various Lines of Business
Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership and ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
Critical thinker with the ability to analyze problems, identify issues and provide solutions
Ability to navigate the enterprise and data assets across multiple functions
Highly organized; effectively prioritizes and balances multiple efforts in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
