Overview Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases with urgency. You take pride in promoting trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.

Google’s Trust and Safety team protects users by fighting web abuse and fraud across Google products, with a focus area of enforcing monetization policies to ensure brand safety on YouTube. You will work with other YouTube teams to navigate testing online brand safety escalations.

Salary and Benefits The US base salary range for this full-time position is $206,000-$289,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; individual pay within the range is affected by location, skills, experience, and education. A recruiter can share the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. Compensation details listed reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Qualifications Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

13 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, program management, business strategy, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields.

2 years of experience in people management, leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field.

Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation, visualization/dashboards, or knowledge of a scripting/programming language (e.g., Python).

Experience working with engineering and product teams to create tools or automation to improve user safety.

Experience working closely with policy teams.

Experience with machine learning.

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly with team members to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching.

Design and implement integrations between business objectives and business systems, including strategies that support these systems.

Conduct strategic analysis, optimize business performance, and deliver within relevant product areas. Analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions that improve business performance.

Manage projects involving multiple stakeholders, tight timelines, and changing circumstances.

Use Google’s big data to conduct data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence business decisions by presenting insights and market trends.
