ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Traveling Superintendent to join our Green Infrastructure team. As a Commercial Electrical Superintendent, you will lead and coordinate field crews to install power, lighting, and low-voltage systems on active medium and heavy industrial, advanced manufacturing, and commercial projects. A Day in the Life / Responsibilities
Responsible for daily and weekly manpower coordination by working with on-site crews and project management staff to allocate electricians where they are most needed. Lead field talent acquisition in partnership with the office team, projecting staffing needs for upcoming electrical projects. Address day-to-day crew issues, ensuring problems are resolved professionally and efficiently. Lead annual field staff evaluations and support development of trade skillsets to build stronger teams. Support project preconstruction alongside project management staff and foremen to streamline job site mobilizations, including scheduling, bulk material buys, crew planning, tool/equipment needs, and lift planning. Work with PMs and foremen to develop field execution plans and sequencing. Participate in owner and design model reviews to ensure electrical drawings are accurate, coordinated, and installation-ready. Assist in forecasting hours for jobsites, helping PMs and foremen track labor and identify challenges early to improve outcomes. Review project timesheets to ensure labor hours are recorded accurately. Serve as a field representative in customer and owner meetings, delivering a professional customer service experience. Assist in resolving project-level coordination issues, ensuring smooth execution across trades (NEC). Qualifications
5–25+ years of experience in industrial, advanced manufacturing or commercial electrical construction with complex electrical systems Strong working knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NFPA), installation practices, and jobsite safety standards Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling software; ability to review digital drawings and project documents Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently to project sites nationwide Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including long periods of walking or standing, climbing, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds on active jobsites Make Your Move
