Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity - 27384

Overview A Boston-based Private Equity Firm is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant with experience in public and/or private equity accounting. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for timely financial reporting, fund administration, and support to the limited partners (LPs) across multiple private equity funds. This position is onsite 3 days/week and offers up to $110,000 base salary plus bonus, profit sharing, and 100% paid benefits.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, management fees, and financial statements

Manage investor communications, reporting, and audit processes

Support incentive allocation models and performance reporting

Coordinate with clients and respond to investor inquiries

Utilize systems such as Investran, Salesforce, and Intralinks

Mentor junior team members and collaborate across internal teams

Qualifications

2-4 years of fund accounting experience or public accounting experience with PE clients

CPA strongly preferred

BA/BS Degree in Accounting
