Overview
The Chief Financial Officer performs extremely complex and/or sensitive accounting activities associated with the assigned responsibility and oversees the operations of the Finance Department. The position is responsible for managing, monitoring, and evaluating the general ledger, accounts receivable/resident accounting, accounts payable/payroll, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, and other accounting activities and services of the Finance Department. Responsibilities
Manage, monitor, and evaluate the general ledger, accounts receivable/resident accounting, accounts payable/payroll, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, and other accounting activities and services of the Finance Department. Oversee operations of the Finance Department to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with applicable HUD programs and standards. Contribute to agency performance ratings in HUD evaluation systems (PHAS, SEMAP, and related assessments). Collaborate with executive leadership to support financial planning, budgeting, and internal controls. Additional information
