Brand Marketing Manager, WhatsApp
role at WhatsApp. This is a foundational role within the WhatsApp global marketing organization, that will play a critical role in the global development of the WhatsApp brand. WhatsApp is looking for a proven consumer marketing manager who is passionate about building brands and is experienced in developing and executing insights-driven brand marketing plans that move hearts and minds. This Brand Marketing Manager has a proven track record of working in a brand marketing manager capacity to shape the future of a consumer tech brand. In this pivotal role, you will lead and bridge across global and local consumer marketing teams, responsible for the development and execution of large scale campaigns and brand moments across the world, working with local teams to ensure local relevance for billions of users. They must be adept at balancing the need for exceptional work while keeping up with the pace of an organization famous for moving fast.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of global brand marketing initiatives across media, partnerships, experiential, editorial, etc
Inform our overall global brand strategy based on in-depth understanding of users, product, competitive landscape in key markets
Lead the development of campaigns and go-to-market strategy for our global brand campaigns and tentpole moments - that meets our short and long term business goals
Partner closely with the teams listed below to identify opportunities and deliver integrated marketing campaigns: Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, Decision Science, Communications, Planning and Media investment, Creative X (In-house Creative and Production Agency), Media and Advertising Agencies, Growth Marketing and Product Management
Track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimize campaigns, find new opportunity areas, and report success to leadership
Work with a growing team of Brand Strategists, Integrated Marketers, Social & Comms teams to deliver on business priorities
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in brand marketing for consumer tech brands of global scale
Brand marketing experience in Tech industry
In-depth experience in landing successful product value propositions with clear brand POV
Experience in leading large multi-million dollar campaigns with an understanding of communications and media planning
Demonstrated experience working with media and creative agencies. Capacity to connect brand & business agenda and come up with bold/innovative ideas for brand marketing
Extensive experience connecting product & brand marketing agenda, capacity to operate in both lanes
Demonstrated track record of bringing a tech product's brand positioning into product design & GTM
Preferred Qualifications
Thorough understanding of WhatsApp as a brand and product
Experience with both early stage products and established products/brands
Global experience working across a number of markets
BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or related field
Compensation Base pay range: $122,000.00/yr - $176,000.00/yr
Base compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details in this posting reflect base pay only and do not include bonus, equity or incentives unless applicable. In addition to base compensation, Meta offers benefits.
