Overview
The Influencer and Community Partnerships Manager will own Athenas global creator ecosystem managing influencers, sponsored cultivators creators, and brand ambassadors across the cannabis and hydroponics space. From sourcing and contracting to onboarding, content QA, monthly check-ins, and performance reporting, youll run a disciplined, compliant, and community-first program. This position reports to the Director of Marketing. Responsibilities
Program Ownership :
Build and maintain a tiered roster of influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors (domestic + international). Contracting & Onboarding :
Define briefs, deliverables, timelines, usage rights, and exclusivity; manage end-to-end contracting with Legal. Onboarding & Compliance :
Onboard creators to Athena brand guidelines, product education, SOPs, and Growers Hub participation. Relationship & Campaign Management :
Run monthly check-ins; track deliverables, approvals, posting schedules, and audience feedback. Content & Activation :
Coordinate product seeding, sampling, and event support; ensure timely content and accurate product representation. Quality Assurance :
Audit creator channels to ensure they are meeting required deliverables. Measurement & Optimization :
Own KPIs: reach, engagement quality, CTR, attributed sales / leads, coupon / affiliate use, dealer lift, cost per outcome. Build dashboards and readouts; recommend scale / stop / iterate decisions by tier and market. Track and analyze influencer and partnership performance using analytics tools. Provide regular reporting on ROI, engagement metrics, and brand impact. Recommend optimizations based on data-driven insights. Community Integration :
Drive creator activation inside Growers Hub (AMAs, grow logs, Q&As, SOP spotlights). Content Sourcing :
Source real cultivation stories and case studies for owned channels and sales enablement. Operations & Budget :
Manage creator pipelines, briefs, calendars, and payouts; forecast and reconcile budget. Required Skills
Experience with affiliate creator tools (e.g., Grin, Impact, LTk / LikeToKnow, Aspire, Tagger) and UTMs. Familiarity with CRM automation, project tools (Asana), and social listening. Background in commercial cultivation or hydro retail. Familiarity with software and tools including G-Suite, Microsoft Office, CRMs, and online marketing platforms. Qualifications
Experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field 3–5+ years in influencer creator management, talent partnerships, or social marketing (brand or agency). Proven experience negotiating contracts, usage rights, and deliverables at scale. Strong grasp of cannabis hydroponics culture and the difference between hype and real grower value. Data fluency :
can build simple dashboards, read performance, and make clear recommendations. Excellent relationship skills : direct, respectful, and reliable under pressure. Organizational rigor comfortable owning calendars, SLAs, budgets, and follow-through. Work Environment
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, climbing stairs, and ladders, and carrying boxes. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
