Your impact

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Civil Engineer in Denver, CO. We have an expanding portfolio of water infrastructure projects locally and regionally. This role will involve civil engineering on a variety of projects, including but not limited to conveyance, site layout, grading, roadways and underground piping for water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations. You will grow within our Water focused group and become a critical part of our team. Using our cutting-edge, proprietary tools and modeling software, you’ll apply civil engineering design and construction principles as you develop your skills working within local and regional teams to deliver projects to our regional, state, and federal clients. You will coordinate your work with multi-discipline leads including structural, mechanical, geotechnical, electrical and survey. Responsibilities

Develop civil engineering design, prepare reports, develop plans and specifications and provide project support during the construction phases. Create engineering markups and review survey and basemap drawings on projects. Take ownership of your career as a valued team member and grow into a discipline lead role where you are responsible for developing a set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company and client standards. Understand and edit specifications on projects. Generate earthwork quantities and reports with an understanding of sloping grades. Coordinate activities between all disciplines at the project level ranging from stormwater, erosion control, site development and underground utilities. Model the site grade and yard piping using Civil 3D or InRoads/OpenRoads, depending on project specific needs. Ability to convey information to vendors, clients, and to other engineers across our many regional and national offices. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) Certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire. 3+ years of civil engineering experience. Demonstrated experience with water resources modeling, land development, site layout, site civil design, grading, drainage, civil yard piping and utility design, stormwater analysis, and erosion control design. Excellent self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, organizational skills, multitasking ability, and computer skills.
