Office Product Group (OPG) —part of Microsoft’s Experiences & Devices division— you’ll lead the people strategy for Engineering and Product teams responsible for building the iconic
Microsoft Office suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and
M365 Co-Pilot . Your impact will help evolve the organization, foster innovation, and empower teams to deliver world-class productivity and collaboration solutions.
Responsibilities
Organizational Design : Collaborate with business leaders to interpret business needs and people priorities; architect and contribute to the design and/or integration of the holistic organizational plan (talent, structure, culture, process); partner with the business to monitor, execute, and evolve the design.
Organizational Diagnostics : Partner with peer HR disciplines on leveraging the systems model, diagnosing talent pyramid and talent management processes/programs; interpret results and build data-driven recommendations; assess organizational effectiveness and design/implement assessments or solutions.
Change Design & Orchestration : Identify needs for change and lead implementation of new or changing structures, cultural changes, or programs; develop change management and communication plans with the Communications team and business leaders.
Strategic Talent Management : Identify talent strengths and needs; translate business priorities into talent outcomes; design approaches to help leaders decide to build, buy, or borrow talent and assess impact.
Leadership & Team Performance : Assess data, interpret information, and present insights to senior leadership; conduct one-on-one effectiveness coaching; coach managers and leaders to facilitate organizational change and model inclusive leadership.
Strategy Clarity & Alignment : Translate business strategies into people and organizational priorities; guide leadership on clarifying and executing strategy; lead interventions to drive execution gaps.

Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 4+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, training, performance management).
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field AND 7+ years experience in human resources or related processes (e.g., hiring, performance management).
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in organizational design OR talent management, driving strategic workforce initiatives and enhancing operational effectiveness.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM).
Compensation: The typical base pay range for this role in the U.S. is USD 106,400 – 203,600 per year. There is a different range for specific locations (San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metro), with base pay in those locations ranging from USD 137,600 – 222,600 per year.
