Overview
The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for developing the email and marketing automation strategy to drive demand for multiple brands within our business. You will be the subject matter expert on marketing automation to define the role it plays within our digital customer experience. You will also manage the day-to-day implementation to support the company’s business and growth objectives. The Marketing Automation Specialist will define, build, and manage a marketing automation program for inbound and outbound demand generation that connects with our various targets and cultivates relationships with the database for the purpose of conversion and generating revenue. Responsibilities
Develop and execute an email strategy, including goals and success metrics, to support business objectives and drive engagement.
Manage the end-to-end segmentation and automation of email campaigns, from initiating new emails to building, testing, deploying, and reporting for all email streams, including marketing campaigns, lifecycle campaigns, re-engagement, and transactional emails.
Collaborate with brand managers to define communication goals, audience segmentation and content.
Prepare monthly analytics reports to measure performance and continuously evolve our digital marketing programs based on findings and new opportunities.
Coordinate Salesforce campaigns, lead flow and imports, reports, and dashboards.
Coordinate updates to transaction email templates and work with the corporate IT team for system integration changes, as needed
Identify and recommend email industry best practices and trends
Present marketing automation strategy to stakeholders and regularly communicate results
Responsible for all email analytics ranging from email performance, year over year comparisons, and conversion analysis across all campaigns.
Manage the prospect database and explore new methods for list growth.
Ensure compliance with spam and privacy laws in various regions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Two (2) years of hands-on experience with managing email, marketing automation and/or CRM platforms (HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce, etc.)
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Experience with data segmentation, strong Excel skills, email analytics
Solid understanding of email best practices (A/B testing, QA, design, flow, permissions)
Project management skills to manage calendars, creative and data needs and tight deadlines
Certification on a marketing automation platform (preferably HubSpot)
B2B direct marketing experience (e-mail, social, content, website)
Salesforce.com experience with campaigns and leads management
Experience with marketing survey and PR software, and project management tools
