Overview
Work for a cutting-edge social media marketing agency creating custom content for clients across a variety of industries. This is a dynamic role for a creative who is comfortable both working remotely and attending regular in-person content shoots in the Denver/Boulder metro area.
You must be an excellent writer and editor, comfortable with graphic design, and skilled at filming, editing, and producing high-quality social media videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube. You will act as the main creator for the accounts you manage, creating long and short-format captions, custom graphics, and short-format videos with accompanying visuals. Your responsibilities will also include client communication and analytics overviews for the accounts you manage.
This is a full-time salaried position with the option for part-time if that is preferred. This is a remote role, but you must be local to Colorado to attend regular content shoots. There is an opportunity for promotions and future leadership positions in a small, fast-paced startup.
Responsibilities
Content Production: Create captions, graphics, and videos for several social media accounts; write and edit long-format blog posts.
Video Content Creation: Participate in and assist with in-person content shoots in and around the Boulder/Denver area, including filming on an iPhone, organizing footage, applying editing techniques, and finalizing content for social media.
Creative & Strategy: Stay current on creative and cultural trends on Instagram Reels and TikTok, and help brainstorm ways to incorporate findings into client work. Create concept documents for client review, and translate those into complete shot lists for in-person video capture.
Community Management & Analytics: Manage community management on all social media platforms, including answering comments, DMs, and ensuring every message is read and responded to. Track and analyze monthly analytics for social media accounts.
Client Management: Maintain strong client relationships through timely email communication and participation in client meetings.
Qualifications
Experience: 2-3 years of professional writing experience. At least 2 years of experience creating content (writing, graphics, and video) for a brand or business.
Location: Must be local to Colorado and available for regular in-person content shoots in the Denver/Boulder metro area (must provide own transportation).
Copywriting: Excellent writing skills to cover a variety of businesses, tones, and styles.
Video Production: Proficient in filming and editing on an iPhone. Familiarity with editing software like Splice, CapCut, Edits, Canva, or InShot is preferred.
Design: Comfortable creating new designs or modifying existing ones in Canva.
Social Media Marketing: Must be up to date with the newest social media platforms, features, and content trends.
Time Management: Ability to work remotely within our deadline structure and manage your time effectively.
Attention to detail: Content must be accurate, on-brand, and in alignment with client goals.
Soft Skills: Fast learner, strong communicator, self-motivated, organized, and open to feedback.
