Guy Carpenter Guy Carpenter's Global Analytics & Advisory acts in support of US broking operations and client advisory functions. The Catastrophe Risk team is seeking candidates for the following position that can be based in Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Edina, MN; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Morristown, NJ or Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The exact level of the position will be determined by the background of a candidate. Responsibilities

Support GC broking operations by performing the catastrophe risk analytics necessary for reinsurance evaluation, decision-making, and placement. Act as the catastrophe risk expert as part of our account teams. Be a client advisor in areas such as catastrophe risk management, underwriting support, pricing adequacy, and reinsurance decision-making. Take part in or lead internal initiatives. Act as a mentor/advisor to junior colleagues. Promote our team-oriented and highly collaborative culture. Qualifications

8+ years of experience with various catastrophe models. Experience with a wide range of insurance segments. Knowledge of data storage and manipulation tools such as MS SQL, Alteryx, Python, R, etc. Ability to lead the catastrophe analytics as a part of a client account team. Fundamental knowledge of the reinsurance industry. Nice to have
