Join us in a high-impact role where you’ll craft a world-class iOS experience that powers AI social media workflows for creators. At Scrollmark, we’re building SocialGPT, your copilot for social media content creation—helping creators and brands plan, create, and grow with confidence. We have raised $8M in seed funding from top-tier investors including Mayfield, Jackson Square Ventures, Lemniscap, Shakti, and Aperiam. As an early-stage startup, we’re seeking a senior iOS engineer who obsesses over performance, polish, and creator workflows. You’ll work directly with our CTO and partner across product, design, and backend—owning features end-to-end, from prototype to App Store release. You’ll also set the roadmap and mentor/hire as we scale. What You’ll Do
Build the Next-Creator App (iOS):
Design and ship a fast, intuitive iOS app (Swift/SwiftUI, UIKit where it fits) that makes content planning, creation, and publishing feel effortless.
Design and Integrate AI Workflows:
Build frontend flows to present insights and suggestions generated by SocialGPT in the most impactful way
Performance & Usability at 60fps:
Own app responsiveness, animations/haptics, offline-first UX, background uploads, and startup time using Instruments, signposts, and proactive profiling.
Collaborate & Iterate:
Prototype quickly with design and product, run user studies with creators, and refine based on in-app analytics, crash-free rate, and p99 UI latency.
Scale & Ship Reliably:
Set up feature flags, TestFlight cohorts, release notes, and crash/trace monitoring.
Strategize & Lead:
Contribute to roadmap and design system; establish mobile best practices, code standards, and testing (unit/snapshot/UITests); mentor teammates as we grow.
What We\'re Looking For
5+ Years Shipping iOS Apps:
You have built and maintained production iOS apps with meaningful scale and ratings, and you can point to features you owned end-to-end
Expertise in Swift/SwiftUI (and UIKit where pragmatic):
Strong command of async/await, Combine (or equivalents), navigation patterns, state management, and accessibility
Product & System Design:
Translate creator needs into elegant flows; design scalable architectures (modularization, dependency injection, background tasks, data sync, caching)
Media & Performance Chops:
Hands-on with AVFoundation/PhotoKit, background processing, offline caching, networking, and rigorous performance tooling (Instruments, MetricsKit)
Platform Integrations & Quality:
Experience with notifications, widgets, deep links, share extensions, authentication, analytics/experimentation, and App Store submission guidelines
Self-Starter, Creator-Obsessed:
You thrive in ambiguity, ship with craft, and care deeply about the details that make creators faster and more confident
