ISS is seeking a CSfC Solutions Engineer to join our growing team supporting the development and deployment of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) architectures. This position plays a critical role in configuring, testing, and deploying CSfC solutions that secure classified networks and data for U.S. government customers. The ideal candidate has senior-level expertise in Linux (particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux), deep networking knowledge, and experience implementing DoD-compliant cybersecurity and encryption technologies.
Responsibilities
Implement CSfC compliant solutions that meet NSA, DoD, and customer requirements.
Collaborate with other operations departments to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and efficiency of the CSfC system.
Develop and modify system scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, etc.).
Write standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials.
Evaluate current CSfC system, identify improvements, and implement new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
Configure, administer, and maintain systems (e.g., RHEL, vCenter, vSAN, Windows Server, HPE) to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements.
Support all Cross-Domain solution requirements.
Serve as the escalation contact during large outages and provide support for Tier 2 and 3 systems.
Author Systems Engineering Design Packages including detailed implementation project plans and procedures.
Configure and maintain systems, software, and hardware components to meet NSA CSfC, NIAP, and DoD requirements.
Perform systems design and systems integration.
Design, develop, implement, test and maintain complex secure communications systems.
Configuring/managing PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions.
Configuring Certificate Authority (ISC CertAgent/MS Windows Server/Red Hat Certificate systems).
Document configuration, test procedures, results, and training materials.
Preparing test reports and configuration documentation according to customer standards.
Providing on-site training on solution daily use, management, and troubleshooting.
Providing on-site solution installation and integration.
Identify and recommend hardware and support solutions based on research and analysis of new technologies, interfacing with customers and vendors.
Provide technical expertise to sales engineering teams during complex systems developments.
Serve as Systems Integrator for the various contracts within the DoD.
Apply DoD STIGs and IAVAs.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
