Trystars team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Data Architect to join our IT team. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and leading the architecture of our enterprise data systems. Your responsibilities will include defining & creating data management frameworks, develop scalable data models, and setting best practices for data governance, security, and integration. You will architect robust data platforms that ensure the quality, availability, and integrity of data to support Trystars strategic objectives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data architectures and roadmaps. You will guide the selection and implementation of technology solutions, mentor engineering teams, and champion data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Your expertise will drive the continued evolution of Trystars data strategy and enable innovation and operational excellence on a scale. Responsibilities

Act as the strategic point of contact for all data & AI initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, implement, and maintain scalable and robust data architectures. Optimize database structures and processes to ensure data integrity, security, and high availability across all platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and translate business requirements into effective data models, frameworks and architectural solutions. Establish best practices and provide technical leadership to data engineering teams, fostering professional growth and consistent architectural standards. Oversee data validation, testing, and quality assurance processes to guarantee data reliability and compliance with governance policies. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, integrations, and standards. Communicate architectural updates and strategies to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and organizational alignment. Champion data governance initiatives, including the development and implementation of data management best practices and policies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Engineering & Analytics or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in database design, data engineering, business intelligence, AI & data modeling with a focus on designing and implementing big data solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools. Experience with cloud data platforms Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power BI or similar. Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, data lake houses, semantic models, purpose-built data stores and databases. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data engineers, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic approach to data management and architecture. Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Experience in managing large-scale data projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices, with a commitment to ensuring data quality and integrity.

Additional Qualifications

Familiarity with digital manufacturing and related systems like ERP, CRM, QMS etc. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement minor system enhancements. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language. Passion for learning and optimizing technologies and user experiences. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and highly resourceful in both team environments and building business relationships. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Willingness and ability to travel 20%.
