Overview
Position: SAP Business Analyst (CWP 1169) – White Plains, NY (Hybrid) – Full Time Voyatek, formerly GCOM Software and OnCore Consulting, delivers outcome-driven technology solutions to public sector agencies and higher education institutions nationwide. NYPA is the client for this role. The New York Power Authority (NYPA) is the largest state public power organization in the United States, focused on clean energy, economic growth, and sustainability. Project Luminate is NYPA's initiative to replace its SAP ECC 6.0 ERP with a cloud-based platform to meet NYPA's evolving needs. Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain and review Functional Requirements. Create, maintain and review business process flow documents and business process documents. Create, maintain and review Technical Requirements document. Create, maintain and review Requirements Traceability Matrix. Create, maintain and review data mapping documents and Technical Interface specifications for electronic files (e-files). Support review of business analysis deliverables from the vendor. Provide guidance on SAP S/4HANA capabilities to the NYPA team in modules such as ISU Billing, Procurement, and Finance. Support creation and maintenance of test strategy, scenarios and scripts. Assist the team in developing application support RACI and handover documents; assist with stakeholder communications. Assist with completion of Business Impact Assessment and Technology Impact Assessment forms. Prepare weekly status reports and meeting agendas, materials, and minutes for weekly meetings. Qualifications
Extensive functional experience in SAP/S/4HANA, especially ISU Utilities, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD. Extensive experience in developing detailed requirements—functional and technical. Experience with Azure DevOps. Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development methods, such as process/functional requirements definition, JAD/RAD sessions, use case development, and process flow diagrams. Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills; strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. A deep understanding of technical concepts, principles and terminology; knowledge of data science concepts and experience gathering data requirements. Ability to work in a team environment with both employees and consultants; ability to communicate across many levels of technical and business teams; ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders. Demonstrated experience with Agile and hybrid project methodologies; superior presentation and negotiation skills; proven management and organizational skills; adaptability to fast-paced environments. Education & Certifications
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited school, or equivalent. 10+ years of applicable experience, preferably in IT projects including cloud computing and data integration. Preferred Certifications: IIBA ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, AAC; IQBBA CFLBA; IREB CPRE; PMI-PBA; Certifications in Agile and DevOps are a plus. Compensation
The hourly wage range for this role is $63.00 - $73.00. The range reflects a variety of factors, including skill, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and geographic location; a reasonable estimate is provided for budgeting purposes. Benefits
