Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
We are seeking a
Engineer / Inspector
to join our growing team of dedicated managers and engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a Treasure Island bathroom renovation project in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery while serving as the central liaison between the contractor, client, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage and administer the project’s construction contract as defined in the Contract Documents.
Implement and enforce Quality Plans to ensure work is performed in strict conformance with project requirements.
Monitor environmental compliance and implement all required procedures.
Oversee project schedule, costs, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and maintain construction documentation.
Support public outreach efforts related to the project.
Serve as the
primary point of contact
for contractors, the client, and external stakeholders.
Direct the Construction Management (CM) team and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Interface with the Engineer of Record (EOR) to support design needs during construction.
Review and process technical submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
Participate in startup, testing, inspections, and contract closeout.
Evaluate, resolve, and provide solutions to constructability issues in the field.
Requirements
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a Engineer, or Project Manager on vertical projects.
Valid Cal/OSHA 30 certification
required.
Demonstrated experience managing
RFIs, submittals, and change orders .
Strong ability to work independently and efficiently, with proficiency in construction software and digital documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience in building renovation and public facility projects strongly .
