Senior Director Business Development

to be a subject matter expert (SME) for a designated book of business. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in identifying and securing opportunities that drive success for publishers leveraging Playwire's cutting-edge product suite. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of the publisher sales cycle, excel at communicating with key stakeholders, and confidently represent Playwire at industry-leading events. Role details

Location: New York, NY Salary: $204,000.00-$280,000.00 Responsibilities

Oversee and execute the complete publisher sales cycle, from prospecting to successfully closing new partnerships. Confidently articulate the Playwire value proposition to key decision-makers, including C-level executives, building trust and alignment. Attend industry events and embody the Playwire brand externally, establishing a strong presence and fostering valuable industry relationships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches and deliver results that exceed customer satisfaction, positioning partnerships for long-term success. Translate customer needs into actionable insights and strategies for Playwire to address effectively. Stay updated on Playwire's product suite, enabling strategic business development decisions and ensuring alignment with evolving market trends. Stay informed about industry best practices and trends to make informed decisions that keep the company competitive. Collaborate with legal teams regarding contracts, ensuring the protection of the company's interests. Maintain and update our CRM system with precise and current information on leads, contacts, and opportunities, ensuring data accuracy. Qualifications

Ad Tech Expertise (1-3 Years): 1-3 years of experience with a proven track record in building successful partnerships within the ad tech space is essential. SaaS experience (3-5 Years): 3-5 years selling of SaaS products and putting together pricing and packages for customers in a scalable fashion Established Industry Relationships: Demonstrated relationships within the ad tech ecosystem, including direct connections with publishers Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and formal storytelling/presentation skills, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level executives. Proven Revenue Driver: A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue targets, demonstrating a results-oriented and driven approach. Complex Deal Negotiation: Experience in negotiating and closing 7-8 figure deals, showcasing strong negotiation skills and astute business acumen.
